Grinalda // Garland

Costurar para o Vicente tem sido sem dúvida a maior das minhas inspirações neste último ano. É verdade, já passou um ano e é incrível ver como aquela bolinha rechonchuda se transformou num pequeno menino com energia até mais não e feitio afável. Nem sempre foi fácil, e ás vezes ainda não o é mas, a meu ver, não há nada que se compare à felicidade e amor genuínos que se sente ao ser mãe.

 Na festinha de anos dele, quisemos juntar a família e amigos e eu senti a necessidade de ter algo diferente para decorar e escolhi uma grinalda. A meu ver, as grinaldas tornam tudo muito mais festivo (seja um aniversário, uma comemoração, as boas-vindas a um bebé).

Sewing for Vicente has been one of my biggest inspiration this past year. It' true, a year has passed and I can't believe that small meatball turned out to be a little zippy boy with a good temper. It wasn't always easy and it still isn't easy but as far as I know there is nothing that compares the genuine hapiness and love that you feel when you are a mom.
In this birthday party we gathered our family and friends and I needed to have something different for the decoration so I choosed a garland. They really turn out any ocasion more festive even if it is a birhtday party, a baby shower or some other comemorative event.

Agora está no futuro quarto dele e tenho adorado a forma como o estamos a decorar, uma coisa de cada vez, com carinho, com história, com amor. 

Now it's in his soon-to-be room and I'm just loving the way we are decorating it. One item at a time, full of meaning, care, and love.
